NIGERIAN GHANAIAN SCHOOLS PERFORMS CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The World Health Organization (WHO) has set aside March 20, every year as World Oral Health Day to promote good Dental Health. Dental health is an integral part of total body health. In celebration of the day, Nigerian Ghanaian Schools (NGS) in conjunction with llamoshe LCDA and Oke Afa Community organized free Oral Health Screening for NGS Parents and Oke Afa residents on the 19th of March, 2022 as part of her corporate social responsibility. The event took place at Bestford Street, Oke Afa from 10:00am to 04:00pm. Three Dentists: Dr. Ojo Taiwo, Dr. Adebisi Esther, Dr. Oduntan Aderepo were on ground to carry out the free dental screening for members of the public and give expert medical advice on how to maintain healthy oral hygiene. The event was well attended with over hundred children, youths and adults screened. The Executive Director of NGS, Mrs Chinyere Chima, Head of Administration Pst Dominic Essien and Staff of the School were present to grace the occasion. Our gratitude goes to the Board of Governors of NGS, Ilamoshe LCDA, NGS Parents, and staff, Oke-Afa community for making the event a huge success

On February 14, 2022 Nigerian Ghanaian Schools(NGS) Celebrated Valentine’s Day by reaching out to the less privileged at Last Hope Faith Mission Orphanage Home as part of her corporate social responsibility. The NGS Team was led by the Head Teacher, Mrs. Victoria Erewa. Some staff and pupils of the school accompanied her. Various food items and gifts were donated to the children in the orphanage including cash donation. The Management and Staff of the orphanage were very happy at the show of love displayed by NGS and were very grateful Nigerian Ghanaian Schools have a culture of reaching out to the needy in the community, and hereby calls on well-meaning individuals and corporate organizations to do same in their communities for a better society. We are grateful to NGS Parent, for contributing gift and materials that were donated. We are also salute the Management and Staff of NGS for their contributions to the success of the visit. We are looking forward to more collaborations between NGS, Parents and Staff to make it a huge success next year
